Leafy Corner never forces hard timers, but customers still arrive while you water, decorate, and rearrange. Fireline gives you a door sign to close the shop, multiple save slots, not-for-sale plant marks, and propagation for mature stock. Closing the shop with the door sign

Interact with the door sign to flip the store closed. While closed:

• No new customers enter.
• Shoppers already inside can still be served and checked out.
• You can rearrange furniture, stock pots, water freely, and plan order holds.

Close before a major layout rebuild or a full watering pass after unlocking a new wing. Reopen when the floor looks intentional again—empty chaotic aisles hurt first impressions tied to reputation.

Closing is not the same as the pause menu. Pause freezes time for camera and UI work; the door sign specifically stops the customer spawn loop while you still play in the room.

Multiple save slots

Leafy Corner offers several save slots so you can run parallel shops—one collectionist save, one “decorate only” experiment, one Steam Deck commute save—without deleting progress. Name slots clearly after platform habits:

• Main — reputation climb toward Best In Town (reputation six).
• Demo habits — if you still practice on the free slice; demo progress may not import to full game.
• Console vs Steam — stores do not sync across Steam, Nintendo, PlayStation, and Microsoft. Pick one primary ecosystem for long variegation hunts.

Mark plants as not for sale

Favorite mature pots and order candidates can be marked not for sale. Casual browsers skip them; you keep showcase foliage and reserved order stock. This also unlocks the Steam achievement This One’s Mine—listed on Achievements.

Use not-for-sale marks when:

• Holding a plant for an accepted order.
• Displaying a rare variegation near the entrance.
• Growing an orchid toward Blooming Beauty without accidental sale.

Propagation basics

Mature plants can be propagated into new seedlings. Propagation slows the parent plant’s growth but preserves special traits—including variegated patterns—on the new seedling. That makes healthy parents valuable long-term for collectors chasing Plant Collector breadth without buying every seed from scratch.

Suggested closed-shop workflow

1. Flip the door sign closed.
2. Claim finished tasks for Plant Tokens.
3. Full watering route—stop before blue tops out.
4. Mark order and showcase pots not for sale.
5. Rearrange shelves or fill a new expansion wing.
6. Propagate one mature favorite if tokens and space allow.
7. Reopen and serve any remaining guests.

Settings that change pressure

Game Settings can soften whether plants die or need frequent watering. Closing the shop is still useful even on easy settings when you want uninterrupted decorating time.
