Reputation Tiers in Leafy Corner
Six cozy bands from new shop to expanded catalog and advanced customers.
Six tiers gate the cozy endgame
Reputation in Leafy Corner measures how trusted your plant shop feels—not a combat rank or social media score. Fireline Games spreads unlocks across six reputation tiers in the full release: more customers, larger pots, additional floor space, and advanced plant stock arrive as you maintain healthy displays and complete objectives. Early preview coverage described the climb as gradual and readable from the in-game reputation tab, which shows current tier progress and hints at the next unlock.
This page complements How to Increase Reputation with tier-specific planning. Tiers are not separate currencies—you still earn Plant Tokens from the task list while reputation rises from consistent shop care.
How to read the reputation tab
Open the reputation panel from the main UI after the tutorial. You should see:
- Current tier — your band number out of six.
- Progress bar — how close you are to the next tier.
- Next unlock preview — often floor space, pot sizes, customer types, or catalog entries.
Check the tab after every task-claim session. Tier jumps sometimes coincide with new task chains—claim rewards before assuming the meter stalled.
Tier-by-tier expectations (full game)
Exact labels may vary by patch, but launch buyers report this pacing:
Tier 1 — Opening day shop
Tutorial graduates start here with a small floor plan and starter species. Focus on How to Water Plants and first Plant Tokens purchases. No formal orders yet—practice browsers with How to Help Customers.
Tier 2 — Decor and display literacy
Customers notice layout. Spend tokens on Pots and Furniture that frame entrance stock. Demo players capped around tier 2 in the free slice—full ownership continues climbing.
Tier 3 — Orders and trait checks
Demo notes and launch streams place customer orders near this band. Stock pet-safe and size-appropriate plants using Pet-Safe Plants and compendium panels. Read How to Complete Orders before accepting complex requests.
Tier 4 — Expansion consideration
Shop Expansion options typically tempt owners here. Expand only if watering routes stay stable—use Pause and Shop Layout when adding square footage.
Tier 5 — Larger pots and advanced species
Higher tiers unlock bigger vessels and deeper catalog entries from How to Unlock Plants. Variegated surprises may appear on mature displays—see Variegations.
Tier 6 — Late cozy mastery
Final band emphasizes collection breadth across 100+ species rather than new systems. No staff hiring appears—Fireline keeps the fantasy personal. Set long-term goals via Plants hub and Review expectations.
Daily habits that climb tiers faster
Healthy greens at the entrance — Wilted hero pots slow tier gains more than back-corner mistakes.
Task list hygiene — Unclaimed finished objectives waste both tokens and reputation momentum.
Trait accuracy — Wrong plant recommendations during browsing reduce satisfaction even before orders formalize.
Balanced spending — Hoarding tokens without visible quality stalls tiers; empty shelves bore customers.
Tiers vs Plant Tokens
| System | Earned by | Spends on |
|---|---|---|
| Reputation tiers | Care quality, tasks, happy customers | Unlocks systems (space, orders, pot sizes) |
| Plant Tokens | Task list rewards | Compendium species, pots, furniture |
Alternate sessions: one day unlock a species, next day expand or redecorate.
Demo vs full six-tier ladder
The Steam demo stops around reputation tier 2 with nine plant species and roughly a dozen tasks. Full game ownership unlocks tiers three through six and the complete catalog at $9.99—Steam sale through August 13, 2026 on Launch Sale.
Troubleshooting tier stalls
Meter frozen below tier 3 — Audit unclaimed tasks, entrance wilt, and unfinished customer prompts.
Orders unlocked but slow progress — Trait mismatches on structured requests hurt satisfaction—use the Plant Request Matcher.
Decor-heavy weeks — Furniture without healthy plants impresses screenshots, not tiers.
