Before 1.0.3, Trailing orders could surface too early—before many players had unlocked enough cascading species or shelf space to answer calmly. Gating them until reputation 4 keeps How to Complete Orders paced with Reputation Tiers and Shop Expansion. You still meet walk-in customers with other traits at levels 1–3; Trailing becomes a structured board challenge once your catalog and layout can support hanging displays.

That change does not remove Trailing plants from early unlock lists—you can grow and sell them sooner for décor and casual sales. Only orders that require the attribute wait for tier four.

How to prepare before reputation 4

1. Raise reputation with tasks, healthy displays, and non-trailing orders via How to Increase Reputation.
2. Spend Plant Tokens on at least two Trailing-flagged species so you are not stuck buying under pressure.
3. Reserve a high shelf or hanging-friendly zone in Pause and Shop Layout so cascading leaves stay visible and waterable.
